Blue Santa Toy Drive 2022

Once again we had a great event.  Lamar KC5AOI out did himself this year.  The gumbo and beans he made would make a cajun slap his momma with pride.  Monte Ki5JML did a great job again this year organizing all the toys.  Lamar has been spearheading the toy drive in the EARS group for a number of years.  Monte Ki5JML combined the event with the Gulf Coast Trikers group.  We met again at David NE5TX home in Mt Belvieu for great fellowship and to see all the toys that are dropped off.  David NE5TX smoked another amazing brisket.

Special thanks to Sylvia and Jaunita, David's wife and Nanny, for all the work they do to make it so nice at the McCartney home.

Below are some pictures from the event.  If you took any pictures and would like to have them added to this photo gallery please email them to Wes W5WES at W5WES@arrl.net

    Blue Santa Toy Drive 2021

We would like to thank all the great hams who gave their time, treasures, and talents to make the Blue Santa Toy Drive a resounding success in 2021.  The organizers again this year where Lamar KC5AOI and Monte Ki5JML.  Lamar has been spearheading the toy drive in the EARS group for a number of years.  In 2020 Monte Ki5JML combined the event with the Gulf Coast Trikers group.  We meet at David NE5TX home in Mt Belvieu for great fellowship and to see all the toys that are dropped off.  This year was an amazing event.  David NE5TX and Jason N5HSE smoked the brisket and ribs.  Oh boy were they good.  We all ate way more than we should have.
