Blue Santa Toy Drive 2023 is coming up.

We are planning to have another great toy drive and EARS Christmas party this year.  It is scheduled for December 9th, 2023 and will be held at Dave NE5TX's house in Mount Belvieu.  We will have some great food and fellowship.  Bring a gift or donation if you wish.  It's not required but suggested.  Let Lamar KC5AOI know if you will be able to attend so we can be sure to have enough food.

Once again we had a great event.  Lamar KC5AOI out did himself this year.  The gumbo and beans he made would make a cajun slap his momma with pride.  Monte Ki5JML did a great job again this year organizing all the toys.  Lamar has been spearheading the toy drive in the EARS group for a number of years.  Monte Ki5JML combined the event with the Gulf Coast Trikers group.  We met again at David NE5TX home in Mt Belvieu for great fellowship and to see all the toys that are dropped off.  David NE5TX smoked another amazing brisket.

We would like to thank all the great hams who gave their time, treasures, and talents to make the Blue Santa Toy Drive a resounding success in 2021.  The organizers again this year where Lamar KC5AOI and Monte Ki5JML.  Lamar has been spearheading the toy drive in the EARS group for a number of years.  In 2020 Monte Ki5JML combined the event with the Gulf Coast Trikers group.  We meet at David NE5TX home in Mt Belvieu for great fellowship and to see all the toys that are dropped off.  This year was an amazing event.  David NE5TX and Jason N5HSE smoked the brisket and ribs.  Oh boy were they good.  We all ate way more than we should have.
