For clear communications under all conditions, we use a phonetic alphabet for spelling out critical information. Instead of “A B C”, we say “Alpha Bravo Charlie.” Letters such as D, T and V can sound alike during noisy conditions, whereas Delta, Tango and Victor are more distinct. The second annual Baytown Hamfest is a wrap! The support from the ham radio community was amazing. The Eastside Amateur Service Radio Club really stepped up to the plate to promote Amateur radio and our great hobby as a whole. So much work goes into making an event like this happen but most of the credit goes to the fine folks that showed up. All of us in the EARS club sincerely thank you. Hope to see you next year!!
